Changing ourselves towards the next step in our evolution, at no “Cost”.

With an incredibly broad perspective, we’d be lying to ourselves in saying that our current capitalist system works. Relatively, it works for certain people and definitely doesn’t for others. So the system is biased at its core, which means it doesn’t work. Arguing that it does work, means either you’re greedy and couldn’t care less for the person standing next to you (let alone the entire population of people who aren’t in our system’s good graces) or you just “accept” it since it’s the only system we’ve ever known aside from Monarchy. But simply “settling” for Capitalism doesn’t truly make it work. In my honest opinion, we have reached a day and age where we ARE self conscious enough to realise that we are constantly evolving and we will always have the need to survive no matter how comfy some people’s lives seem. We have started recycling and focussing on others needs aswell as our planet's instead of merely our own selfishness. Most people blame greed and selfishness on the human being, when that very greed and selfishness is merely a result of our survival instinct brought out of us by the system we live in. The system in itself isn't "bad", it's "wrong". "We" become bad people from trying to survive in it. Sure, we could "change" if we wanted to. So how wrong could it possibly be to make a drastic change? After all, change is change. Any change will take us out of the comfort zone we have established for ourselves. And quite frankly, our "zone" has become uncomfortable on it's own on account of our evolution, to a point where we fear a radical change less and less everyday just as long as change happens. Change is inevitable whether we want it to happen or not. Why not change for the better if everything within the change has been well thought out?

Race, Religion and Politics are responsible for wars in our history. In fact there is a Religion based war happening in the middle east as we speak. But if that war is showing us anything, it’s that the new generations don’t want anything to do with taking “sides”. Most of them are fighting not to have to take sides. They turn to look at the older generations act out of rage, fear and prejudice and it bores them to sleep just hearing about it and they’re tired of being forced into something they want nothing of. Religion doesn't have the same power it used to and the middle east is about to show us just how little it does today, by ending the war and breaking down the walls that separate their religions and lives. These newcomers born in feuding religions don't understand the purpose behind their war no matter how much they study history and no matter how hard their parents have tried to brainwash them into blindly accepting it. They are now old enough to have a voice and grab the reigns to stear us all into a peace filled era. They see race wars as being an even bigger waste since they practically all boil down to idiocies such as “skin color”. Racism lingers on from the threads of an old mentality that all but seems to have died except in America and in very select and minor areas in the world. Hell, even in America, i didn't see any wars occur when President Obama was elected. It "could" have happened, but the fact that it didn't shows significant proof that we are evolving. Those ideas are from an old era which unfortunately is still lingering on today until they completely evaporate with the times, just like religion hold on humanity’s past. These old mentalities will follow suit with the old farts that still cling onto them and will stink for a while before finally dissipating until they fade into nothingness. The young are replacing the old, and change will happen in a capitalist world eventually too.

A war based on politics is the same as a war based on money. People in power use fear to get what they want just like religion once did, yet look at how much power religions have today? Look at what's happening in the middle east right now. Who ever thought it would ever happen? The fact is that if we look back at our world's history, we can defintiely notice just how big of a fast track of evolution we're on today when compared to a hundred years ago. 2012 has been anticipated by the Mayans forever as a huge step in our evolution, not the end of it. So maybe the middle east will be settled by the end of that year, and then set an example to the rest of the world, just like the EURO did, in establishing that unity is the next step. Expect South America to get on board a unified currency soon as well. Africa will also follow suit. Why? Cause with unity, especially with a unified currency, war can't exist. People go to war over money, but can't go to war with themselves. So why not take a leap into our evolution and completely remove currency world wide?

Greed generated by the Cost of Life. THAT is today’s issue.

If we dissect "wants" and search for where they come from, since the beginning of time, man has "wanted" what he did not have. And if we dissect further, we find that man has developed jealousy and war over what he simply could not take. Remove the obstacle to man's many "wants" and out the door goes jealousy, greed and corruption. If you think about it long enough, Greed wouldn’t even exist if Cost didn’t either. What am I babbling about you ask? Well lets look at certain problems in today’s society, shall we? Why aren’t there enough doctors? Because it costs too much to study in the field and it costs too much to keep doctors where they are. People will ALWAYS leave for greener pastures. Why? Cost. Cost of rent, food, bills, success, whatever. PLENTY of people have a passion for medicine that they can’t even begin to study because they don’t have the funds. That actually goes for PLENTY of other careers that are mandatory for human evolution and existence. Why do so many people die from diseases? Cost. Why haven’t we found cures for these diseases yet, in our evolved day and age? Cost. Why do third world countries even exist when we’ve already developed ways of growing anything in controlled environments? Cost. Why don’t we plant more trees and further develop recycling? Cost. Why don’t we exploit the planet’s natural energy sources that would NEVER damage it like the Moon’s effect on our oceans and the Earth’s everlasting core? Cost.

If we look at Crime for instance, why do people even steal or kill? Cost. You honestly think people would break into a house and kill the owners over a few thousand dollars worth of shit that they could get for free at a retailer? And why get shitty brands when Sony’s and Panasonics could be just as free as any other mimic? Instead of competing against one another to be the best, technology companies could work together to make ABSOLUTE technology. And what would you do with 50 computers if you can't make a profit off them? Wouldn't you just want one that functions as the best ever made? You'd just need to snag the latest one that came out everytime it did and have your old one recycled into more recent and better performing equipment. And anything done on paper wouldn't need to exist anymore since everything can now be published online. See? I can tell you all this and don’t even have to charge you for the book. With recycling, the sky's the limit really.

Same thing goes for cars. Think about it, why would anyone highjack someone at gunpoint for their “Hyundai Tiburon” when they could be rolling off the lot with a brand new Jag? “Oh right, so everyone would drive Jags now, that’s retarded.” Well think about it, why not? People could choose from the different vehicles that are available which regardless of the brand, could now ALL be as dependable as the more reputed brands, since well… Cost would no longer be an issue to prevent them all from making great vehicles. Companies that make shitty cars today like GM and Dodge wouldn’t need to ask the government for any money, they’d just make good cars. Period. Cars would now all be electric or of a better more ecological technology since oil companies would cease to exist. Seriously, there is literally no use for them in any way, what so ever. In regards to people wanting more than one car, why would they? People that collect cars normally do it because of the pride of their worth and how much they paid for it. Unless you have a garage that can allow you more than one car, why would you take more than one? They wouldn't even be worth anything anyway.

I know that at first glance, removing the Cost makes us weary of overconsumption. But nowadays if people want food, they don't need to kill their neighbour for their goat anymore. We've evolved. We get our food from the store which we pay for. But we wouldn't really need to in a different system. Why would anyone want to get a truck load of food they won't finish eating for a month's time when they could just as easily do what they already do and grab a few things here and there, whenever they need it? I mean, if you know food will be free and in abundance, why would you go out of your way to get more than what you needed? And right now, plenty of food gets wasted because the rich don't buy it all, and the poor can't afford any. Eliminating Cost would also significantly diminish waste of any kind.

Oh but I can hear you already: “What are you high? Abolish “money”??? As if people would work for nothing!!! You’re delusional!!!” Well, I find it odd that PLENTY of people that have taken their retirement, actually go back to work either part time or even full time, doing something they enjoy, even if it’s volunteer work! Why? Because retirement’s boring and it doesn’t take you long to figure out just how quickly you loose it if you don’t use it. It all depends on WHAT you do. As you probably noticed, I said something they “enjoyed”. Why aren’t there more people that enjoy their work? Cost. There are way too many people that are sick of their jobs and are stuck with them till they retire or die from depression trying to get there. Why? Cost. They can’t afford to go back to school to study in a field they not only love but actually thrive at doing which would ALSO help the rest of the world evolve. And they’ve spent so much of their hard worked money on pension funds and benefits they might not even get to use. If the cost of life was abolished, nothing would be spent except good times doing what you enjoy doing for a living.

Alright, but how about housing? Everyone and their mother would want a house!” I don’t think so. Houses require a lot of maintenance which not everyone enjoys. I mean seriously, with the price of condos these days, why are they even selling to begin with when a house is practically just as expensive? There’s your answer. So, no Cost would also give apartment people a break since they pay through the nose for something they don’t even own. Appartment buildings and condos could be owned by construction companies where their job would consist of keeping those buildings freshly renovated and in working condition, instead of having a landlord that doesn’t do shit, or paying condo fees all year for a company that just mows the lawn every other week. As for expanding our housing beyond our dreams, there are current laws about renovations and new constructions that could still be upheld. The government could limit it to one house and one cottage per adult in one family, meaning if you marry, you'd only be allowed to have one house and one cottage as opposed to each having their own. Why would you need anymore, really?

My idea doesn’t suggest that laws and the government that imposes them shouldn't exist, in fact they are an absolute must. And of course certain people would try not having to obey these laws but that's something that no matter which system you have, you'll have to deal with. What i'm talking about is removing all possible opportunities for corruption that CAN be removed. People can't say it wouldn't work because it never happened before. Think as far back as you can, money or exchange of goods & services always existed. In fact, before the white man came to america, the natives did live peacefully and before we could learn from them, we took from them all that they had. But we have evolved from that. We no longer care about taking what others have unless it's money. So if there is no more money, what could we possibly take from someone which wouldn't already be available for us all to have freely?

Now, before you try and destroy my credibility by throwing names at me like “Communist, Socialist and Marxist!!!”, Communism doesn't work because it limits it's followers to a set income while the higher power gets all it wants. Then that higher power chooses to either benefit the country or itself. That's flat out blowing open the door to corruption. Hoping for a just communist government is practically like playing russian roulette! But since the other side of the coin (Capitalism) has the richest get richer and the poorest get dead, neither options are very enticing in my honest opinion. As for "Marxism", i haven't researched enough of it to fully understand how it works or if it doesn't. Thing is, i'd be surprised if money didn't have some part in it anyways. What i have seen in rebuttal to Marxism is what people think would happen in such a system, with only fear & greed fuelled opinions. If what i suggest today is flat out Marxism then call me a Marxist. I'll always be waiting to see why what i suggest can't work. If the world united itself as one species that uses the same free system, then problems would be solved the world over and I think I’ve thoroughly explained how. But I’ll elaborate further for you.

If we look at politics, the corruption that exists within politics has to do with money. How many politicians work their asses off at getting elected only to do nothing afterwards but swim in our hard worked cash? So once money no longer exists, what would we be left with? Why would someone go out of his way to become a politician if he'd get the same benefits from doing a job he feels truly passionate about? This way, we could actually have natural born leaders, who truly take our existence, it's survival and especially it's evolution to heart, lead us into a new era. Important things would be done instead of being thrown to the side for whenever the budget permits it, if ever.

This is ridiculous! It’s the same as supposing everybody in the world becomes a millionaire, who will wash our cars or clean shit up? Well first off, where i live, "car washing" isn't a profession. We have machines that washes your car for you if you don't want to do it yourself on a sunny day in your own driveway. And i fully understand that my reality isn't everyone’s, but it could be if what i suggest is put in motion. I'm pretty sure your professional car washer doesn't dream of washing cars at night and would surely prefer be working on space travel or bio chemistry or aero dynamics or medicine or phychology or you name it EXCEPT washing cars. But if washing cars manually truly is someone’s dream job, than they could run their own professional carwash instead of having to do it for pennies while the owners of these cars have more cash than they'll ever believe exists.

As for “cleaning shit up”, It’s not because you hate cleaning shit up that the rest of the world does. There is such a thing as a clean freak, but they usually don’t yell it at the top of their houses. I’ve worked with plenty of people in plenty of fields which include cleaning AND government office work. I have met cleaners that LOVE their job and if they were given any scholarships, they would even return to cleaning later on. I’ve also met government workers that look at cleaners with envy on account of all the stress these government workers have to put up with (stress that is generated by COST btw) on a daily basis. “If it wasn’t for the goddamn pay and benefits” they say. Yeah… if it wasn’t for THAT (which is always ALL related to Cost), they’d love to wake up in the morning to go mop a floor or clean some food court trays. It’s ALL relative to everyone’s life situations which are literally GOVERNED by Cost.

Okay, I’m sick of this. How the hell would EVERYBODY get a job that they enjoy??? That’s a flat out dream! It could never be!” Quite frankly, I don’t see why not and I’m still waiting for concrete proof. Of course it wouldn’t happen on a whim. There would be waiting lists until everything is settled which would take years. But I think it’s high time for the world to think of the future instead of the present. It would be an investment in our entire species. And the only people against it would be greedy capitalists. You know, the ones that live in a world where having more than your neighbour is their reason to live? The ones that jump at the chance to say that greed would make socialism fail, when greed is the very reason why capitalism is failing today? I don’t see why unemployment services couldn’t change to being EMPLOYMENT services. Instead of giving you money for not working, they’d find you a job you CAN do(depending on your condition) and might even enjoy but couldn’t have before on account of COST. People that abuse the system wouldn’t be able to anymore, it would be “Law Number 1” for everyone to have a job, which would be given by government run employment services. For everything to be free, the price would simply be to HAVE a job or be in SCHOOL, which whatever your choice is, you wouldn’t even need to compete for. It would also relieve some tension between immigrants and current citizens over the issue of “taking someone else’s job”. That hatered directed at immigrants would be non existant since every country's government would be responsible for finding jobs for everyone including their current citizens.

It is the absolute truth that passion is relative to your cultural background. Around the world, there are different cultures that have not evolved as far as richer countries. Some people are born into our world where they will be content with sleeping naked in jungles and hunting their food all day, for the rest of their lives. And that is okay because they develop a passion that suits their culture, the way it should be. I'm not saying the entire world should come to a screeching halt and people should drop what they're doing to become the next Lady Gaga. The problem is not in the entertainment field in fact, entertainment and art are manditory to our evolution. There is a time and a place for it along side the work we need to do in order for the world to keep on turning. And even though we don't hear about them on the news, there are plenty of people that have much passion for their work even though they aren't fullfilling their life long dream of being an artist. When a person grows up and advances further into their 20ies, they become aware of who they are and the talents that they have. That's when they know of which dream they can live and which ones they can put aside on account of being pure fantasy. Personally, i'd love to sing my ass off on stage but i know full well that i can't carry a tune to save my life. But i can draw. And even though i'd love to have a job that caters to my talents, realistically speaking, it's not removing currency that would automatically allow me to just live off my art. But you can bet your ass i'd go back to school in psychology if i could. That is another one of my multiple passions. In any system, the last thing you should be is an extremist. Because life's never about “all or nothing” and that's a valuable lesson that should be tought from infancy.

One person actually asked if I had ever watched Star Trek. Apparently, quoting him, “The backstory had something to do with elimination of currency and I think it was similar to your idea.” To tell you the truth, i've watched a few episodes but never followed the show. Maybe i should've cause it sounds pretty smart. I find it funny that President Obama has put space travel on the back burner because of what? Cost. What other obstacle could prevent us from literally leaping in space? None. "Money: The Final Frontier" well i say screw it, TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!! I think of life on Earth just as I would a space colony on any planet or ship. Wouldn't they just work at producing whatever they needed to survive without any established currency? Or would the people in the colony actually do nothing and rot away because they don't have the funds to buy themselves a space grown tomato for lunch? If it works in space, then logically it should work on Earth given all it's limitlessly recyclable resources. Plenty of you would argue that space exploration crews consist of a handful of individuals that were sellected based on their credentials, and that they all serve an essential function in order for them to survive in harsh environments. But that doesn't tell me why the "space colony" society can't exist on Earth. It just tells me that "at the moment" it doesn't. And personally, I just don't see how people can separate "surviving" from "living", even on Earth.

Some would argue that in our society, you don’t need to be a biochemist to survive, all you need to do is flip burgers and Bob’s your Uncle. And although that is true, you can’t possibly argue that we wouldn’t ALL benefit from a better education as well as a better health.  If currency stopped existing, why the hell would we go to eat chemical shit they sell cheap to make a sale at McDonald's when the tastier and healthier "Pita Pit"(or whatever you can think of) could offer better food for the same price, which is to say completely free? There are existing fast food choices that are more healthier for you that don't get as many sales only on account of marketing, something that costs tremedous amounts of money to utilise. And plenty of McDonalds franchises are filled with workers that are high school drop outs that need the cash to survive in the real world where the education that they lack prevents them from getting better jobs, or college and university students that HAVE TO work there in order to survive as well as stay in school or else they couldn't afford it. No one "needs" McDonalds. No one. If it didn't cost a dime, everyone COULD get the education they needed to do their part in our current society on Earth in order to be useful to it's survival. Not only that but University graduates wouldn't be left without a job on account of the fact that in our current system, they are over qualified and simply COST too much to hire. So brilliant minds are wasted every year just because we cling to money like a safety blanket. If that isn’t Capitalism in a nutshell, I don’t know what is.

Health wise, did you know that your body is capable of doing much MUCH more than what we tell ourselves it can? Just looking at blood pressure and cholesterol in our human bodies around the world, shows significant differences depending on where the person lives. Why? All on account of "stress". Stress, which is directly linked to the cost of life (no matter which situation we examine), affects us as physically as it does psychologically. Remove that stress and we won't need to spend as much time sleeping to get a good night's rest. We won't need to spend sleepless nights studying to pass exams because we already spend all day in school and then go work our jobs right after in order to "survive". We won't need to spend half the day at a gym to be considered "healthy". We won't need to work two or three jobs to feed our children while they are being raised by strangers. So even on Earth, we do need to work at surviving. We need to have an efficient system for every aspect of society and ours just isn't, in any aspect. We'd be left with much more of our life to enjoy as other cultures around the world show us right now. The Internet has openned many doors to unity for everyone on Earth. And the only way we will truly be united, is if Religion, Races and Currency unifies together throughout the world. Religion and Race are nearly there, all that's left is the hardest one of them all. Breaking that last wall will truly make us more efficient than our species has ever been.

You see, the problem is actually within the question. If you even bother to think about it long enough, once you take Cost out of the equasion, you will be left with nothing but the solution which is merely “Life”. Think of it this way, the “Cost of Life” implies the existence of “Prevention of Life”. And in ANY world, it shouldn’t. "Passion" is what people thrive on and THAT is our fuel for evolution. To put aside one's passion just because he doesn't have the means or the ideal reality to follow through with it is not only a shame but should be considered criminal.

But a Shaman doesn't convince people or force people to think like they do, they merely offer options. Ghandi's tactics simply wouldn't work in our day and age. We've evolved from that. So i'm not interested in "convincing" anyone, i'm just stating an idea and leaving it out there for people to ponder on and eventually maybe put in motion. I don't see the point of starving myself or inflicting harm on myself over an idea of abundance and peace. I think that would go against it more than prove anything else. You got plenty of activists in the streets right now asking for some spare change because some of them don't believe in our system. Do people examine their situation and listen to them? Never in a million years. Putting an idea forward, regardless if it will ever happen or when it actually will is a far better option IMHO. I don't need change today. I can wait for it until it reaches it's time to shine, even if it takes more lifetimes than people care to believe in. Just you reading this today might have a buttefly effect that could eventually change our ways for the better, and i'm content with that. The expression "money makes the world go round" is the worst lie we've ever told ourselves. WE make the world go round, regardless what we use as fuel. I just feel “passion” is a much more ecological and stress free fuel than currency.

In closing, I’m sure all of you could come up with plenty of arguments to this. But if you truly wanted to, you could spend the same amount of energy coming up with a counter argument to your own thoughts. The entire world lies within the palms of “intent”.
